112th Men's Cursillo "But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine, When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown, When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you, ... Because you are precious in my eyes and glorious, and because I love you ...." Is 43: 1 - 4
Our Lord calls us by name to be His witnesses, to go and bring His message to all we meet. Each of us on the 112th Men's Cursillo Team are striving humbly to offer ourselves, with all our strengths and weaknesses, to those who will come. We have opened our hearts to Christ to be His servants. We invite your prayers and palanca, especially for the men to whom we will minister ... there is still room for more guests to come ... into the fields, into the quiet, into His midst. Palanca: please be generous with your palanca for the men who are called. Palanca may be sent to any team member, carried to Missionhurst, or sent to Tom Silva, 10445 Carriage Park Court, Fairfax, VA 22032. Mananita will be at Missionhurst, Sunday, September 25 at 7:00 AM. Quietly gather at 6:45 AM at the gates of Missionhurst - please be mindful of the neighbors at that hour. There will be NO MASS at closing - Closing will be in the Parish Hall of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Vienna. Please be seated by 4:15; closing will begin at 4:30 PM. Please bring heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages to share. Front row: Harry Hardin, Fr Mike Hann, Tim Brown Candidates for the 112th Men's Cursillo
