Spiritual Director
Cursillo has changed my life. The weekend convinced me that I wanted to minister
in Northern Virginia and I, therefore, became part of the Diocese of Arlington when
it was formed.
Through the years, I have always been in group reunion—sometimes two group reunions.
I have found that group reunion has kept me centered in Christ and engaged me in
Christianizing my environment. I have been inspired to be a better Christian by
the members of my group, especially the Community of Christ (a group that I have
been a part of for almost 25 years – every Wednesday evening).
I love to share the gift that I received in Cursillo by sponsoring others for the
weekend and by serving as a team member on the weekends. I love too that Cursillo
is a lay movement. I feel that the authenticity of lay Cursillistas speaks much
more powerfully to others who share the same life issues (balancing God, family,
work, ministry, and friendship). I plan to continue to be involved in the fourth
day the rest of my life.
