Women's Click for the Palanca Clock For 126th Weekend Map and Directions to Mount Zion “FEAR NOT, FOR I
HAVE REDEEMED YOU; As our scripture theme states, “I have called you by name; you are mine” (Isaiah 43:1), this extraordinary group of people listened and heeded the call when they agreed to work the 126th Women’s Cursillo weekend. Our journey of formation officially began on Sunday, January 13th, the Baptism of the Lord, and will carry us through the Lenten season, Easter and the Resurrection and finally to the weekend of Divine Mercy Sunday. We have set out on the path of forming a loving and caring community among ourselves with trust that the Holy Spirit will be guiding us and forming us to do His work. By our answering, “Here, I am, Lord”, we pray that those who are called to this weekend will answer in the same way and bear the fruits of the gifts of this faith filled team. We ask for and will be strengthened by your prayers and palanca. Palanca can be emailed to the addresses listed below and mailed through the USPS to: CaterinaTiso, 7220 Whitson Dr., Springfield, VA 22153. This team has formed and bonded and are ready to bring Christ’s love to our new sisters. The weekend begins on Thursday, March 27th at the Village of Mt. Zion and sponsors are requested to have their candidates at Mt. Zion at 7:00 PM that same evening. In addition to ensuring that the candidates have all necessary belongings for the weekend, food and beverages for the team and candidates to have between meals are especially welcomed and greatly appreciated (especially fruit, veggies and water). Arrangements for palanca should be made with team members or sponsors traveling to Mt. Zion on Thursday. Mananita at Mt. Zion is at 7:00 AM, Sunday, March 30th. Look for directional markers to guide the way and to mark the parking areas. Please gather at the main house by 6:45 A.M. rain or shin Closing with Mass is in the Church beginning at 3:30 PM. Food items for the Closing Reception may be left in the Cenacle (lower level of the Church). Your prayers and Palanca during our formation have been very much appreciated and certainly have helped us greatly. We know they will continue to do so during the weekend as well. God Bless.
